I am excited to release the 2nd edition of the Tonalli Sign Guide and Coloring Book! This edition features all 20 day signs that make up the Tonalli.
It also includes:
A brief introduction to the number system
A writing and reflection prompt suitable for all ages
A freestyle coloring activity
Each day sign page will feature the symbol, its corresponding number, and the name of the day sign in English, Spanish, and Náhuat.
This coloring book was created as a tool to introduce indigenous timekeeping systems and astrology to kids and adults. This sacred information is vital, and we must not forget the knowledge our ancestors left us.
These are my artistic interpretations of the day signs.
